TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These are the Terms and Conditions of Expressmiles Travel and Tours that will cover its products, such as but not limited to, airline tickets, hotel accommodation, tour packages, travel insurance, documentation, visa processing assistance, and cruise packages. Please read thoroughly before making any purchase or payment as agreeing to these represent a binding arrangement between you and the company and your acceptance of its governing Terms and Conditions.
Every product quotation for each person has its own validity – flights, hotel rooms, tour packages, transportation etc. Prices are volatile and it is important to understand that rates are subject to change without prior notice. Some changes are caused by force majeure, government mandated changes, weather conditions, company management changes, and the like.
Suppliers such as airline companies, car services, hotels, and the like, as well as Tour Operators like local travel agencies of different countries, may make sudden changes to the itinerary that is beyond our control. Expressmiles Travel and Tours is not responsible for these last minute changes for whatever reason these suppliers and tour operators may have.
As process, every booking provided will have a payment due date. If payment is not settled beforehand, this will result in cancellation of your booking. Expressmiles Travel and Tours requires all customers to book their travel given the correct name and passenger details. No revisions will be allowed.
FORMS OF PAYMENT
Expresmiles Travel and Tours accepts the following modes of payment: cash, bank deposit, check payment, GCASH payment and credit card payment. All products purchased will only be confirmed once payments have been cleared by our staff. This is particular to bank transfers (online or deposit) and check payments.
Expresmiles Travel and Tours remain free of liability for any instances when quotated prices or slots reserved do not meet the payment deadline. If check payment does not clear within the agreed deadline, adjustments to pricing and availability will apply. Please be advised that inter-bank cheque deposits may take up to 3-5 business days.
PAYMENT THROUGH CREDIT CARD / BANK FEES / SURCHARGES
Credit card surcharges may apply to payments made by credit card such as fees for international transactions, conversion fee, or exchange rate differences. This will be automatically charged to customer in the event you choose to pay by this method.
CANCELLATION OF BOOKING
Cancellation of booking will not be accepted once the booking is finalized. Rebooking services will be considered a completely new transaction and will warrant the corresponding fees applied by the airline for this action. Expressmiles Travel & Tours offers refunds based on the refundable amount allowed by the supplier of the product or service availed through our company, and will be highly dependent on the supplier’s policies for such action.
Expressmiles Travel & Tours is not liable for any airline cancellation, reschedule, or delay for any reason. Any transaction made with the airline that is separate from those completely paid for through Expressmiles Travel and Tours will be considered an independent transaction between customer and airline. Fees, given this case, will then be payable to the airline directly at time of request. If you miss your departure flight or connection, it becomes your responsibility to work with the airline to reach your destination.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Expressmiles Travel & Tours acts merely as an agent for suppliers in selling travel-related services. Bookings and reservations for air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, cruises, etc. are not directly owned or supplied by the company. Expressmiles Travel and Tours will not be held responsible for any breach of contract or any intentional or careless actions or omissions on part of such suppliers, which result in loss, damage, delay or injury to you or your travel companions or group members.
Expressmiles Travel & Tours shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler that are beyond its control, such as but not limited to force majeure situations: war, terrorist attacks, social or labor unrest and a pandemic, or natural disasters that fall under the “act of God” category, such as a flood, earthquake, or hurricane, diseases, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside the travel agent’s control.
Travelers assume complete and full responsibility for, and hereby release Expressmiles Travel and Tours from any duty of, checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of each destination, and all safety or security conditions at such destinations, during the length of the proposed travel.
